Don't miss your chance at a share of $20,000 | Community Spirit

The deadline to enter any of the 3 barbecue competitions at the Fire & Feast BBQ Competition & Festival in Yazoo City is just a few days away, and with $20,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, you won't want to miss it.  There are 3 categories to compete in:

• MBN Sanctioned Professional Division (for professional teams, or those ready to try their hand at it.  Prizes awarded in 3 categories - Whole Hog, Ribs and Shoulder)
• Backyard Division - for those backyard barbeque enthusiasts who would like to get their feet wet in competition bbq, this is your category!  With opportunities to learn from the pros, a small entry fee, and only one category (ribs) this is where the next BBQ greats are made!
• Mississippi State Fire House BBQ Championship - This competition is for those who have at least one team member affiliated with a fire department.  Both paid and volunteer departments are eligible.  Stack your ribs up against other fire house teams to become the state champs in fire house barbecue.
